Presiding over 12+ acres of former farmland, this property claims a generous amount of space and privacy. The site having been previously cleared, Onyx was brought into the project to complete the landscape construction scope. Onyx worked closely with GBR Landscape Design, to ensure the surrounding natural features of the property were thoughtfully integrated into the new landscape. Hardscapes included granite flagstone walkways, antique granite walkways & driveway elements, masonry retaining walls built into grade, and existing boulders placed intentionally within the landscape.
The property will be mostly planted, with an emphasis on low maintenance species, seasonal color and inclusion of an expansive wildflower meadow. During the beginning phases of site development, Onyx’s Site Work & Civil Infrastructure division completed excavation for the house foundation, installation of drainage systems, septic system, utilities and subgrading.
