Strong ties to Lincoln and a love of the area led our clients to purchase this parcel of land with the intent to build a home on the property. Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design created a phased plan of site clearing and landscape improvements for the property and future new house. Phase I began in summer 2025, Onyx worked closely with MCLD to thoughtfully clear the existing invasives and keep native species trees onsite. There was extensive ledge present on this land, that created a challenge for the project team. Ultimately a combination of blasting and hammering was performed to remove the rock. Also included in Phase I: planting the entire limit of work which is an extensive amount of plants, bringing utilities into the site, grading and loaming, installing stone lookout and steps.
Phase II begins early 2026, with clearing the lot for the new house.
