Situated among a quiet meadow, this property is a gem containing many fascinating elements. The existing bluestone terrace was extended out from the house, a new granite terrace met the bluestone and wrapped around the new pool and spa. A large monolithic granite landing was craned in, to function as a step into the pool house. A stand-alone outdoor kitchen was built in matching granite, parallel to the outdoor fireplace. The expansive area has plenty of space for lounging, grilling and dining, making this backyard a great entertainment space.
Transitioning from pool area to garden, Onyx installed bluestone on-edge to stand as planters, and steps. Beyond the finished hardscape area, a rolling lawn was graded to meet the existing meadow. Onyx returned to this project 7 years after completion, to do a new phase of work that included a pickleball court, walkway, terrace and masonry veneer garage.
