Work began in the Spring of 2019 when Landscape Architect Suzanne Hopkins McDonough brought us into this project with the client. They wanted to add a pool to their existing home, where they raised their family, and wanted to host many other family members. We began on-site prep for the pool and spa, completing removals, rough grading, drainage, and more. Custom Quality Pools completed the pool installation, and our masons installed Deep Blue Marble pool coping and terrace. The coping received a sandblasting finish, making it lighter, while the terrace has an antiqued finish to add more depth. The finished product was a stunning contrast. The marble was also used as pavers for walkways through the backyard. Onyx’s work was completed by building a custom fire pit parallel to the pool and spa and installing plantings and a new lawn.
