Onyx performed a 468,000-yard excavation and fill in Glacial Till. The crew installed 2 miles of Utility pipe. Excavated prepped and installed 2 large retaining walls one 1400-lf reaching 53 ft in height and another 500 LF and reaching 32 ft in height among various small walls around the site The site encompassed 50+ acres and would be the home of a 12.5-acre building. All outfitted with underground plumbing and electric to operate the new manufacturing facility. Disposal of 35,000 Tons of contaminated material and construction of multiple temporary basins and multiple permanent basins, the largest being over 2 Acres. The rainy summer and fall were very challenging, being perched on the top of a hill roughly 100 feet higher than the entrance road and surrounding land encompassed by wetlands on 3 sides.
